[IMC-Tech] smscast: event coverage via sms

hi geeks,

i developed a small app for publishing on indymedia pages via short
messages from cell phones. we're using it in barcelona for some months
now and ppl are happy about this new form of event coverage. i wonder
if ppl from other imcs are interested in this tool.

it requires that your cms has a newsticker (breakingnews)
functionality (or that you embed a widely used newsticker
software). at the moment only dada is supported as backend (smscast
works as gateway, the cms does storage and visualization), but i'm
willing to extend it to other cms used by the indymedia
community. also support for non spanish cell phone carriers needs to
be added, i'll do that on demand (and with your support ;)
