Hi,

There seems to be some problem with the online imc form
for filing a request for a new imc, here:
http://newimc.indymedia.org/

The form automatically sends some of the contact
information to the new-imc discussion group, but omits
sending the rest of the materials in the other parts of
the form. I feel those omitted materials, as we filed
them for imc-cyprus, are important, and so I wanted to
include all of them here in one letter, for various
reasons, the most important being transparency of our
process for all interested persons and organizations.
This is the best policy to avoid misunderstandings and
unecessary conflicts.

So here is full application for the imc-cyprus, as we
originally submitted it.

Hi,

We are the Cyprus -based grouping of volunteers who
have been meeting and collaborating within the context
of the efforts to create the Eastern Mediterranean IMC:
http://EasternMediterraneanIMC.cjb.net

We have been in touch with the new-imc working- group
consistently so far, and sending updates about the
developents in our work, under that heading, Eastern
Mediterranean IMC.

Our work seems to be finding more focus: at this point
of the project's development, a *local* cyprus-imc
feels feasible, desirable, and appropriate to what we
have built so far, in terms of group- sense and
community politics. We feel that the creation of a
cyprus-imc will serve better, and it help catalyse the
formation of the larger, bioregional Eastern
Mediterranean IMC which we will keep working for.

It includes names, descriptions and evaluations of our
realities, at both the small- group level, and at the
broader socio-political organism level of our

We fully accept and endorse the IMC Principles of
Unity, as a group, and we feel that we are good
vehicles for actualizing them on our tiny island
republic, and also in the broader Eastern Mediterranean
bio-region.
