(i never sent this.....huge apologies. i'm still figuring out eudora)
hi everyone,
the eugene imc has provided their introductory essay and has
responded to the criteria and principles of unity. i posted their
responses two weeks ago and their essay has been on line since
september. it's now time to move them through the final stages of
this process. i recently was driving through eugene and met with
some of the people involved in the eugene collective to talk about
how things were going. i think they are really moving forward in a
good way. they will probably be on a server other than stallman,
which will increase decentralization, and they have alot of great
tech support for web design and other things (still need support for
active i imagine). i've been talking with a few global geeks who
have offered to help them. also, they have just set up an imc-eugene
list so they can start getting organized that way as well.
i think they're ready to be approved by imc-process if there are no
outstanding concerns here.
thanks all.
