Well, hopefully hiding imc's will remain a very rare thing, and in
this case it was a local decision, made transparently, consensually on
the imc-france mailing list:

(which was difficult: by definition, a dysfunctioning IMC is likely
to have problems coming up with a consensual, non-hierarchical, clear
decision...)

BTW, we're now one month later, and the "political" decision relating
to handling the site password at france.indymedia.org has been
consensed upon, and here's a more detailed explanation, suggesting
that someone from imc-tech might be able to help speed up what is now
(IMHO) a technical action and not a political action (by speed up i
mean a few days as opposed to a month or so...):
