Hi everyone,
   IMC Mumbai/Bombay has passed internal new-imc approval with just
one further comment from jay:

So, with great pleasure, i'm putting IMC Mumbai/Bombay up for
imc-process approval. The deadline for any comments (or objections)
is

i.e. 12:30 IST Fri 16 AUG 2002 (indian stretchable time ;)

A (nearly) trivial comment: IMC Mumbai people, at some point you'll
need to decide in what way you want your site listed on the 

http://www.indymedia.org/cities.inc

and the 

http://www.indymedia.org/contact.php3 

files - cities.inc includes all the recognised IMCs, contact.php3 also
includes approved (but not yet having a site) and requested (not yet
approved) IMCs - but getting these changed is a slightly mysterious
process, so unless you say clearly what you want, (whether "Mumbai" or
"Mumbai/Bombay" or "Bombay"), you might get an option different to the
one you want...  Remember that everyone here is a volunteer, noone is
obliged to do anything... which means that until enough people get
more organised for some task, that task may remain rather chaotic and
uncertain!

For aliases, in principle, there should be no problem having several
aliases, e.g. bombay.indymedia.org *and* mumbai.indymedia.org, AFAIK.
