Estamos muy felizes en sabe que hay gente se organizando para empezar un
Centro de Medios Independientes en Guatemala ;)
Yo soy, dri voluntaria del grupo de trabajo new-imc, gente que instruye
grupos interessados en empezar un nuevo Indymedia.

And the tech issues Tapio asked about. Firstly you have to choose wich
software you wanna use, active, like Brasil IMC, Sf-Active, like Uruguay or
Argentina, MIR like Bolivia IMC, or Dada  like Baltimore. and then, you can
send an e-mail o imc-tech at indymedia.org asking for a space in one of our
servers.
Either way, i`m cc tech latina, where other people can present you the
advanteges of each software. I can send you a message Matze sent to that
lis, if you`re interested, but i would highlight that the outreach aspect in
this early stage is more important.

Yes he speaks English. But but, I don´t have that much technical
experience either. So we need help from imc-tech people, but yes, I want
to learn. I study computer sciences anyway. But how building of the new
site happens? We need to use IMC server. How to get access? Could
someone install the technology and then we could start modifying just
layout?
