Dear jphoy, 
   i'm a volunteer from the IMC Poland group getting organised
right now, but interested in support for people in Japan who might
be interested in starting an IMC there.

Could you please make it clear whether you are interested in starting
an IMC in
(1) Japan ?
or
(2) Davao City (Philippines)  ?

but there are not yet many people with much time ready to start
up yet in Japan.

If (2), then maybe someone from the new-imc at lists.indymedia.org will
help put you in contact with other people in the Philippines, and also
help you get some organising ideas (you can look yourself at
http://newimc.indymedia.org) since i think there may have been earlier
contact from people in the Philippines - i'm cc-ing this message to
the new-imc working group list:
