Nice to see people getting organised in Alaska. Reading your mail it
looks like it will be a great imc overthere.

oh, when we were in WSF in januari, we met some people who were
interested in setting up an alaska imc. Do you know them ? I think Jay
got their contacts (or we give them ours).

interest and solid support from an indapentant newspaper, a small

few.  Though we are by no means near finished with outreach, we're
feeling ready to get to work on pulling a new local site into shape, at
first just for the city of whitehorse but, in fear of being whitehorse
centric as capital city projects so often are, hopefully we will broaden
to include the rest of the territory, the western NWT and possibly even
alaska in a western arctic indymedia site. So this is a heads up and a
