Remember that there's supposed to be no hierarchy here - if you
offer to do something consensual, there's no need to wait for anyone
to "authorise" you. If something turns out to be controversial, of course,
that's the time to slow down and listen and sort our misunderstandings,
and find out how to agree to disagree.  You probably now this by now
anyway...
