There is no need for you to find a server within Iran, in fact I
would recommend you not to for the same reasons you mention here. You
can go on one of the indymedia servers, which are located in the US
or Europe.

I also just saw on your mailing list that you have problems with
unicode-8. There are several people within the network who have some
experience with unicode by now, it is used for IMC Israel and
Palestine and we are right now experimenting with it for IMC Beirut.
The best I think would be if you contact
imc-tech at lists.indymedia.org. You can also ask there where you can
set up a preview site (before you are approved), which system you
should be using etc.

If they don't answer, tell me (I had to inquire a lot about unicode
lately since we had some problems with it in Beirut as well, so I
know several people who can give you information).

Just out of curiosity: How did you manage that? That seems an awful
lot. You subscribed me to your mailinglist after I send two emails to
it, is that an automatic function? I don't know, but maybe that's not
a good idea.
