Hi Evan:
Greetings from Hyderabad!
We already have a tech group set up for the website. Jerry is the key tech
man and will handle all tech issues. We understand that the IMC process
can't be bypassed, and therefore will be grateful if you can start up the
site.
Regarding the elationship between WSF Hyderabad and the proposed Hyderabad
IMC, the same group of individuals who work for WSF are interested in
starting up the IMC. As a matter of fact, the Hyderabad Sectt. will shut
down once the Asian Social Forum is over. We propose to run the Hyderabad
IMC from the same premises along with Telangana Information Trust, an
organisation which has been elping get issues to the forefront in various
media, which otherwise would not get any coverage whatsoever. So the
relationship with WSF currently is a short-term asset based on which the
proposed Hyderabad IMC is making its beginning.
Please let us know the details about when the site will be up so that we can
start doing dry runs before D-day.
In solidarity,
Vijay
