We work on housing and homeless issues in the Washington, DC. We work with a variety of local and national groups.

introductory_statement:
Activists and average citizens who are working on homeless and affordable housing need a centralized news source and resource for their work. Right now there has been an increase in anti-homeless policies in many American cities. Information about these new programs and the resistance to them is very scattered. Local IMCs are doing a mixed job of covering housing and homeless issues. An IMC devoted to housing news, resources, and investigative reporting would serve as a crucial focus and nexus for housing activists and DIY journalists during these depressing economic times.
