Hi,

We're strongly in favour of sending them to imc-
communications.
For now, we can continue to send them to imc- process
as well, but we need to clarify the role of that group.
We need to find ways to steer it away from being our de
facto ("unofficial- official") decision- making group,
and eventually at some point in the near future, begin
to rely on the network- wide collectivity that's being
developed by the imc- communications group.

For now let's please send them to both. It's insane
that just any individual off the street can participate
in the imc- process and hold veto power over new imc's,
while designated liaisons from existing imc collectives
are not even advised/informed.

This is the opinion/consensus of the Cyprus Indymedia
group. It is based on our clear policy toward embracing
and encouraging all forms of association which
cultivate collectivity in the imc network, while
discouraging any forms which magnify the importance of
individualism, no matter how "libertarian" it apears to
be.

And personally, I hope that the liaisons from other imc
groups around the world will become aware of this
situation, and that we begin to take initiatives to
reverse it, together. This would be a good first step:
please send the new imc applications to imc-
communications group, to be reviewed and discussed by
the liaisons of the local/ regional/ global imc-
collectives.

Thank you,
Petros
