Jason, Micah pointed you to the right place. What you need to do is fill
out the quick new imc request form that can be found on
http://newimc.indymedia.org this form will then go to the new-imc working
group, whose listserve I am writing you from(new-imc at lists.indymedia.org)
once you have done this, you dont need to wait for a response from us to
go ahead with the next step. the next step is to email
listwork at indymedia.org and tell them you have put in an application for an
imc in las vegas and are in the organizing stages and would like a
listserve. I would also suggest that you give them a couple suggestions of
names you would like for the listserve, such as lasvegasimc-organizing or
Vegas-IMC-organizing.If you have any more questions don't be a stranger, email myself or the
new-imc list. also, you should read up on the documents on the new-imc
website(http://newimc.indymedia.org) that will give you a pretty good feel
for how to start organizing an imc, what it involves to be approved, etc.
