[New-imc] Proposed Nepal IMC

hi Boud, Bart, gekked,
I might be pretty new in this list if compared to other people but i know
how the process goes on. I don't think that the first contact with groups
that we haven't met face to face should be distrusting, by asking them
questions regarding if they're are involved or not with political parties,
or etc. Instead i think the first step towards new groups should be
welcoming, with a full explanation about what indymedia is about and with
links two our two main documents (principles of unity and membership
criteria). Afterwards is time to adress concerns, as, by the way, i've done
with venezuela apparently hierarchical group.
I'll foward to the list an e-mail i just got from Stepen and i should answer
them giving instructions about how to organize (and i'll probably use Jay's
letter to do that). Either way, since this application is exciting people so
much, i can step back and let other people with more indymedia experience
handle with it. It's up to the group and i don't want to cause any trouble
by trying to help.
peace,
dri
