Hi, my name is Duane Whittingham and I live in Macomb, ILL USA.
Macomb is 85 mi NW of Springfield IL (Capital) where we have just
started a new IMC, in fact we just passed with no dissent and are
working out the tech things like a new site with open publishing.

I am one of the founding members (lose term) and hope to bring a
new voice to the Capital of ILL through Indymedia.

I have been to GRC5 and going to GRC7, and also am involved with
one of the few new LPFM stations in the US. I hope through radio and
Indymedia to help in bringing alternative media.

I also believe in free speech radio/media regardless if its radio/tv
print, internet or other means. This is why i have been involved in
LPFM, IMC audio, shortwave and internet radio and anti-consolidation
of the media.
