Hi Genevieve,

This is Jay from the Philadelphia IMC, and also one of the members of the
new-imc working group, the group that helps aspiring IMCs like yours.  As I
believe Evan has already written to you (but maybe not), the first step is to
take a look at "http://newimc.indymedia.org".  That page has some basic
information about how to go about forming your own IMC.  We've tried to make it
as simple as possible, but it still may be a bit confusing.  Feel free to ask
us any questions you may have!  

When you've looked at the info on that page and you think your collective is
ready to embark on the process of forming your IMC, drop us a line at
new-imc at indymedia.org.  One or more of us will respond and will try to guide
you through the rest of the process, wherever you need guidance.
