hi,
there's a way to preserve the content of the times before
the control over imc-france was lost without keeping the last period when
it went wrong (last 6 months).
* possible solution *
+ delete all the content from the database
that was created last 6 months (some selected
postings can be preserved too)
+ rewrite the html cache
this way the old content is preserved. if someone wants to keep last 6
months, that can be kept in a single file too (database dump).
I can't assists with this right now, but if you do decide to go this way,
and there's no one to do it, you could close the access to the newswire
temporarily until i (or someone else) finds the time to do this.
would this be acceptible?
thanks,
toni
