[New-imc] Re: Zimbabwe IMC ready to go...

hi gang

here's the thing. many of the people who are interested in the imc are
barely computer literate, and have troubled access to email. the meetings in
harare, and tonight bulawayo, have been held at the back of people's houses
because the police are after us, will beat us if they find us (these
gatherings are illegal) and have stooges in internet cafes looking over our
shoulders.

this hasn't, however, stopped people reading and approving the imc
principles of unity (printed out and distributed at meetings). we don't have
an email audit trail, unfortunately, because we've been too busy mobilising
and training folk on how to post stuff.

bearing in mind the limited time available (8 days to elections and upheaval
thereafter), though understanding that you've little in the way of proof
that this is more than just a virtual community, what do folk think?

cheers, ever
