Other comments:		we have tried to join the new-imc working group, but havent heard anything from them yet. there are definitely several issues that we want to be in touch about. we would also like to apply for the site name of hungary.indymedia.org. and we want to set up a local mailing list including indymedia email contact possibilty.
Resources to contribute: we have secured space on a local server.

Why we want to be an IMC: Several of us have come to realize that there is a growing activist community and a certain (early) momentum of third sector activity, yet lacking a good information network and not very cohesive. Thus, we feel that IMC Hungary would well serve the purpose of providing independent information to this important and central location in Europe (including the largest city of the former communist east block), and would equip those organizing in the ngo and activist realm with the necessary tools to be more aware of current events, issues and whatever else is going on around them. It is also our hope to be able to strengthen the activist movements with a hungarian indymedia.
