You can ask for a mailing list by filling out the form at:
http://newlist.indymedia.org
and then you should have list admin tools, subscription, archive etc at
http://lists.indymedia.org/mailman/listinfo/imc-hungary/

Wspania³y! Brilliant!
Back to the question of the "people" side of Indymedia, I think that
it's important to get into contact with all sorts of local activist
groups: workers' rights groups, feminists, unemployed people's groups,
green groups, etc. That's what will make the big difference between
hungary.indymedia and soros.indymedia ;-) though of course there's
also the non-hierarchy, the preference for free software, ...
Here's a personal suggestion for a sentence you might want to put
somewhere (on your site or mission statement or wherever),
in English or even better in po wêgiersku:
###
'What is the difference betwen soros.org and hungary.indymedia?
In hungary.indymedia, the freedom to dominate is not a freedom.'
###
You should also debate among all the various activists whether you
prefer budapest.indymedia or hungary.indymedia - you seem to have
chosen hungary, but as more people get involved and talk about the
issues, you might find that people prefer budapest. In any case, the
decision is local - all that can be "imposed" ;-) (in fact, nothing
can really be imposed) from outside is to ask you to debate this. The
big advantage of a city name is that it discourages nationalism. But
think about it.
