I think it's great that there is a project like this in madrid.

From this and some other stuff i've seen i'm a little confused. Is
acp.sindominio.net equlivent to indymedia madrid or is it some sort of
other project. Basically it comes down to what the focus of the site/group
is. I have no problem with people over a region working on an imc, and i
like the fact that there isn't one Spain IMC, but more regional/city based
imc's poping up there. My question is the acp site more a spanish language
open publishing news site for all spanish speakers or is it a local imc.
Not that there isn't value in the latter, i mean basically that is what
www.indy is for english. I'm just confused and courious."
hi evan
i'll try to explain it better.
acp.sindominio.net it isn't the equivalent to indymedia madrid but it
could ;)
What I mean is acp project was born with people all over spanish state
and some of them continue working at this time -even people from mexico
or peru- all together.
our idea as acp was to be a spanish language open publishing news site
for all spanish speakers. we are opened to everybody. when we were
talking about this to people from barcelona imc or italy imc they didn´t
know how to merge the idea of not-only-madrid and the name
(madrid.indymedia.org).
then we thought it wasn't a problem to be known as madrid.indymedia.org
(to link acp.sindominio.net) because most of us live in madrid so we'll
be covering news from madrid better than other places. if the main
problem is the domain, no problem.
if you think we could show the particularity of acp.sindominio.net (i
mean: madrid.indymedia.org ;) some other way please tell us.
"in solidarity,
evan"
thanx a lot :)
