Howdy,

Derek here from Winnipeg.  Born here, been milling around here my whole
life, involved in various things, mostly related to animal liberation
struggles in the past, among others, and most recently (past 2 years or so)
a collective member at G7 Welcoming Committee Records.

Currently I'm part of a group of folks here applying/starting/going through
the process of starting IMC Winnipeg.  Through this, and the discussions
back-and forth between Geoffrey Young and other folks on this list, and also
the whole Zimbabwe discussions, I'm interested in the process of new IMCs
forming, in learning about it from these discussions, understanding all the
takes on the issues, and then perhaps offering other perspectives on it.
(esp. when/if ?!? the winnipeg imc is up and running and more perspective is
gained).

I also realize that maybe some folks are thinking these Winnipeg kids are
pushy and whatnot, which I could see, and maybe people would like to hear
from other peeps in the Winnipeg group as well.

So there ya go, nice to meet y'all ...
