AMBAZONIA IMC INTRODUCTION STATEMENT  
Our main mission is to provide a free media platform where people from all parts of our society can discuss the issues that face us and other parts of the world. Instead of the present situation in Ambazonia(Ex-British Southern Cameroons) where demagogues decide what is publish by putting undue pressure on the press, leading  to misinformation or lack of information, which has intern created lots of conflicts and made it difficult for the public to actively participate in shaping the destiny of the country . Our desire is to break this practice and lay open a possibility for the public to be informed and to inform. Thus we wish to provide a media outlet where those who publish articles will not need to extra trim their articles for fear of harassment from the authorities. The present regime is determined to maintain the stratusquo while various groups have taken to Organizing resistance, making the country a potential place for another chaotic war in Africa which will  destabil
ize the whole Central and West African sub-regions . With our IMC, we hope that the public will be able to better inform themselves and avoid manipulated. 
We are against racism, sexism, anti-Semitism, tribalism  and against the promotion of hate against people based on physical features, believes, ethnicity or place of origin .

AMBAZONIA INDEPENDENT MEDIA CENTER(IMC)-RESPONSE TO NETWORK CRITIRIA  
a. We at the Ambazonia IMC agree in spirit to the NIMC Mission statement and principles of Unity available at :  http://lists.indymedia.org/mailman/public/new-imc/2001-May/000160.html,

b. We have assembled a core group of committed people able and ready to run our IMC.

c. The political situation in Ambazonia makes it dangerous to hold public meetings in the true sense of the word. We made phone calls , talked to people individually  and send emails to many individuals and mailing lists .  We are continuing our outreach especially by approaching individuals, as that is the way projects that could be target for repression by the authorities are run out here. We’ve succeeded to assemble a solid team of activists, journalists and students both from home and in the Diaspora.

and will continue to have it on our future literature.

AMBAZONIA IMC EDITORIAL POLCY FOR WEBSITE 

.1.Articles for the central column(feature):
-Here we try to publish articles that are very informing and educating normally it is better if they contain photos or other media. Every member of IMC Ambazonia has a right to choose a well written article from the newswire and put it as a feature. And  he/she then sends an email to the IMC Ambazonia mailing list to inform the members of it.
If there is any disagreement about a feature that was made by anybody, then we’ll discuss it and try to find a consensus decision about it. But in the meantime the article stays as a feature. The assumption here is that the article does qualify to be on the website in the first place and it is difficult to universally define which is a well written informing and educating article.
-Those who do not know the technicality of making features can simply write to the list requesting a certain article to be made into a feature.
-We equally consider an article for a feature if a non member requested for it by an email to our mailing list.  
-No press release from any group will be put directly  as a feature; for that to happen the press release has to be rewritten to an article.
.2.New topics:
. Everybody can decide to which topic their articles go at the time of publishing. Any member of our IMC  can write to the mailing list and request a new topic if very many articles come in on a particular issue. 
.3.Newwires:
-An articles can only be deleted if :
.it is a short inconsistent phrase that does not make sense.
.It has been repeatedly publish
.It is racist, sexist, anti-Semitic, tribalistic  or promotes hate against someone based on physical features, believes, ethnicity or place of origin.
.It calls for a crime to be committed 
.We can send deleted articles by mail to anyone on request.
.In the case of controversy over a deleted article, it will be solved by consensus but the article will be re-instated immediately while the discussions go on.

DICISION MAKING PROCESS IN IMC AMBAZONIA

-In all decision having to do with IMC Ambazonia we shall try to seek the opinion of EVERY  member.
-An issue for which a decision had been agreed upon by all can only be changed by an agreement by all.
-Every member has a right to veto any decision but the person has to give a reason for his veto.
Which reasons have to be clear and easily understood. After giving a clear and easily understood answer to those reasons, if there is no cooperation then can a member’s veto be turndown  and that should be only when agreed upon by ALL the other members. 
-If a member refuses to abide by the rules of Ambazonia IMC and as a results  disrupts the functioning of the IMC, that person can be suspended from participating in the project if ALL the other members agree to the decision. The person  will immediately be reinstated if the person writes an apology and promised not to repeat the particular practice.
Suspension means being removed from all the internal communication of the Ambazonia IMC.
