A ideia geral que me fica é que o grupo de pessoas que propõe a criação
do IMC Galiza tem suficiente capacidade de organização humana e técnica
para manter um processo deste género. São pessoas que têm desenvolvido
várias actividades de ambito social, nomeadamente atráves, do seu centro
social casaencantada e do projecto causaencantada. O alojamento do site
será feito pelo seu hacklab. O hacklab é também uma forma de extender as
tecnologias às pessoas, que nesta parte do globo, pensam nas tecnologias
como uma ferramenta do capital e não a vêm como uma forma de comunicação
e de luta social. Algumas actividades relacionadas com o projecto GNU e
a Debian têm tido lugar neste hacklab.

O diversos passos de adesão ao à Rede IMC foram cumpridos e o site
experimental que puseram no ar demonstra bastante cuidado em recolher e
traduzir os documentos necessários à discussão. No link "QUEM SOMOS"
podem-se encontrar os diversos documentos que foram sendo discutidos e
ainda explicações detalhadas da rede indymedia e da forma de participar
nas diversas actividades do futuro IMC GALIZA.

Pelo que me tive oportunidade de saber, quer pelos e-mails trocados, com
a lista (http://lists.indymedia.org/listinfo/imc-galiza) o colectivo
mantém boas relaações com alguns colectivos vocacionados para a
fotografia, rádio e colectivos de apoio a presos e relacionados com o
desastre social e ecológico do prestige.

The ideia I get from the all process regarding Galiza IMC application is
that the people who proposes the creation of IMC Galiza seem quite
organized and capable, both humanly and technically, to mantain an IMC.
I suppose the ten years of activities of the casaencantada social
project makes that point.
They have also developed some projects regarding prisioners and aids

http://causaencantada.org/presos/sida/taboa.htm) also
http://causaencantada.org/presos/libros/infor/tortura/onu/onu1.htm.
I would take too long to describe the projects but I recommend the
visit. 

This people mantains several social activities, namelly through their
social center(casaencantada) and their causaencantada that is a group of
groups that develops several actvities. The site will be hosted by their
hacklab. In this part of the planet people looks at technology like a
away of capitalim to explore (same applyes to Portugal), their hacklab
has been making some effots to introduce the GNU project and Debian as
ways of social communication and struggle rather than capitalist
exploitation. 


They have gone through the several steps of New IMC has described in
http://docs.indymedia.org/view/Global/NewImcHowTo and putted some work
on compilling the several documents necessary to the discution.
They have also put together their web site

"QUEM SOMOS" link they have the description of the process of creating
IMC Galiza as well as an envitation with a detailed howto of how to join
the Galiza IMC.

For the emails exchanged with them as well as some IRC meetings i was
informed and could see through theit website they have contacted several
other groups and the IMC proposal comes after those contacts. They have
been metting face to face with people from the Radio Calimero and people
from some photo colectives. You will find some of the info regarding
these meating in their mailing list.
