[New-imc] introduction of self

Hello list,

deva, portland imc contributor here. Just joined the New-IMC list and so
sending an introduction. 

i have been involved in portland indymedia for 2 years now. For the past
year and half I have devoted all my time to indymedia. In the course of that
time, i have contributed to many facets of this work including being a
semi-tech person, facilitating the upcoming launch of the redesigned and
locally served portland indy site now running on mir code. i also do alot of
video work, both shooting and editing as well as photography and design of
flyers and other fun stuff. Indymedia is rewarding, creative and challenging
work!

i've joined this list for a couple of reasons. 

First, though the portland site is not up and running yet (soon), the
expectation is that down the road portland will be able to host at least a
couple other imc sites.

Second, i have come across contacts of people in a couple of interesting
countries who are looking at starting indymedia centers. i hope to
facilitate their efforts by connecting them with people/resources to bring
that about.

i am very busy with portland work so don't expect to have much time to
contribute beyond these two reasons.
