Hi to Boud and all Boud, in reading over your suggestions for discussion about consensus, blocks, etc. in regards to applications by prospective new-imcs, there is one thing I questioned. You mention that every local imc is supposed to have a liason on Process. Though I have heard the wish expressed that every local would have a liason on every working group list, I believe the main list that was supposed to be liason based was Communication. It was once Process, but Jay initiated a movement to start fresh on Communication last year and up until last fall when I moved and went off line for some months it seemed to be doing quite well. Im sure Jay could comment on this. I was the Ithaca liason and we all were signing in with brief introductions. I was keeping a list of all the imcs who had sent liasons and there were very many. Did anyone else record how many signed on and who didnt? It seems to me it would be better to see if we couldnt reactivate that list instead of starting from scratch again. Im sure there have been some changes since then, but it seems to me Communication is a calmer, more focused list to use. Also Process has always seemed to me to be more a place for individuals to comment and carry on. I feel it is good to have a place for this also. Although I dont like mean comments, I feel sometimes readers are too sensitive. Back and forth debate is how democracy works. Different cultures have different standards on what is acceptable By keeping Process a non decision making list there would be no reason anyone would feel they would have to read stuff if it offended them. I do not feel strongly about this at all. Just more comments from the peanut gallery. Good work Boud.chrystine former ithaca liason, now freelance imc
