V3 -[New-imc] CANCUN - internal new-imc DEADLINE 13:00 GMT Wednesday 13 Aug 2003

hi everyone,
   i think the cancun people seem to have missed some of the 
discussion on new-imc, so i'm cc-ing them.

kino, or someone else supporting the cancun website, could you 
comment on this proposal please? There's no point us (new-imc) internally
consensing a proposal and then passing it on to imc-process if the
people concerned are unhappy with it...

www.indymedia.org/cancun  ?

Whether or not it's a syndication page or just a simple redirect to
http://cancun.mediosindependientes.org/ surely it's enough?

Since these are significant alterations of the original, i've reset
the decision deadline, and i've included both these possibilities.

IMHO a name like "cancun2003.indymedia.org" is reasonably obvious
that it's somehow different from a normal indymedia site and that 
by 2004 will be clearly "out-of-date", but it will technically 
remain accessible (brilliant idea, chris + blicero!).

The imc-process deadline should now be 20 Aug if there are no further
problems - seems to me this is still plenty of time before the event.
i just saw i wrongly mixed up Aug and Sep in the previous version :(...

use of the cancun domain name for the WTO meeting 10-14 Sept 2003.
