[New-imc] Re: subscription to new-imc list

Hi.  My name is Bht.  i currently volunteer with Portland Indymedia doing
mostly editorial work.  Which is kind of elusive.  I help turn newswire
articles into features and do general stuff like that.

I helped with the Biotech topic IMC for a few months, prior too during and
after the USDA/WTO Ministerial in Sacramento CA.

Recently I have been working with FTAA IMC and have helped with the actual
building of the site and it has helped me want to learn more of the tech
side of things, so when I return to Portland I plan on learning MIR grade
tech stuff.  Yeah.

Also, in Miami, some of us that were doing IMC stuff down there hosted the
first IMC Miami meeting and are helping some people down there establish a
working IMC collective and that is amazing.

So, with my involvement in various new imc's I felt that it would be a
good idea to be on the list.
