resources:
We are based in Kenya so we CANNOT contribute  server or bandwith. However we can contribute a lot of organizing, media activism skills; CMAQ in Montreal has offered technical assistance; we have access to various audio-visual and graphic software and we can of course access the internet on a regular basis.

outreach:
We have spent roughly  six to eight months contacting Kenyan social justice and media activists based in Kenya, North America, Europe and other parts of Africa; We have held several meetings in Nairobi and Mombasa and we have developed a consensus that we want to do this. One of our meetings held in Nairobi in September featured a presentation by Francois L\'Ecuyer who is involved with IMC South Africa.

introductory_statement:
We want to participate in the Indymedia Network because we are first and foremost anti-imperialist activists who have seen the potency of the IMC model; we are already using it to disseminate information; we feel it will give us greater autonomy as well as link us globally with other activists around the world; it will also help us  coordinate ongoing struggles in Kenya and tell the outside world about what is happening in our country that is progressive and alternative.
