Hello new-imc!

I apologize for having been completely delinquent in this working group
for the past several months, and hope this makes up for that to some
extent.

I've spent this evening combing the list archives for US orphan IMC
applications and applications that haven't been active for a while. Here's
my summary of what I found-- if you're helping out with one or more of
these and I don't have you accounted for, please let me know, as I plan in
the next few days to be contacting all the organizers who appear to be
orphans. Same goes for if I have you down as helping an IMC that you're
not really helping.

Jay, it would be swell if you could tell me if there are any certain IMCs
you are sponsoring--since you tend to be the poor fellow who is everyone's
first contact, it was hard for me to tell if you were actually sponsoring
any of the IMCs you were in contact with.

Also, everyone, I updated the wiki page, so look at it and correct what i
messed up. Thanks.

THE LIST:

Athens, GA -- Appears to be in good shape, appears to have never had a
clear sponsor, never went through process. I'd call this one a high
priority.

Binghamton, NY and Southern Teir, NY -- These were Arc's, according to
wiki. Not sure of their current status.

Lawrence, KA -- According to the wiki page, Aaron is helping this group?

Kansas City, KA -- First contact in February, Aaron is also helping them,
according to the wiki page. Recently in contact with Jay, are reorganizing
and need a sponsor?

Santa Barbara, CA; Fresno, CA -- Lisa Natasha from SF was helping these
groups? Not sure about progress. Possible collaborations with others CA
groups?

Las Vegas, NV -- I was in contact with Michael briefly, no word from them
lately, I'll see how they're doing.

Cincinnatti, OH -- Made contact in June, not sure of progress since then.
Seem to be an orphan. Possible collaboration with Louisville? (Remember
OVIMC?)

New Jersey IMC2 -- Speculation in July about a second New Jersey IMC for
the parts of the state not covered already. No contact lately, no sponsor.

Central Mass -- Contact in July, not much word since. Orphan?

El Paso, TX -- Nick was in contact with El Paso in August.

Rhode Island -- First contact in Sept, orphan?

Louisville, KY -- Contact in Sept., see Cincinnatti above.

Modesto, CA -- Contact in Sept and after, orphan? Possible collaboration
with other CA IMCs?

Sacramento, CA? -- Don't know when this originally went through; some talk
recently, seem to be meeting, discussing collaborations with others CA
IMCs.

Bloomington, IN -- Joe Diffy from Arkansas sponsoring?? First contact in
October.

Central VA -- Orphan?

Carbondale, Ill - Nick sponsoring. Fairly recent contact.

Erie, PA -- I'm sponsoring Erie. Haven't heard from them lately but their
site seems to be maintained. Emailed them tonight.

Bellingham, WA -- Orphan, I tried to contact them months ago but to no
avail. Dead in the water?

Alaska -- Recent contact with Jay.

Miami -- Current. Sponsor?

DNC IMC (Boston, MA) -- Current. Sponsor?

Hope this helps. Sorry I only did it for US IMCs, but that's generally
what I deal with, and we're sort of a mess right now, and the US alone
took a really long time. ;)

andy
