[New-imc] Re: subscription to new-imc list

Roll call: not a problem.

My name is Robert; I've been working with Boston Indymedia for just under
a year, doing some print, some tech during that time.  I recently
performed in "Lord of the Pings: The Two Servers", where I played Confused
Tech Guy #2 in getting our website moved off of Stallman and on to Dissent
in Buffalo, and will star as Overworked IMCista Organizer #3 in
"Democratic National Corruption 2: Electric Boogaloo" this summer.

Which brings me to why I'm signing up: We're trying to get
dnc.indymedia.org put together for this summer's convention, though the
sooner the better (not to rush or anything).  The demand is already out
here though, with many people writing Boston concerned if not appalled
that there already nothing online for the Dem. Convention, July 26- 29th. 
So I'm signing up to the list with my request for collective approval for
a new issue-based IMC.  As I mention in the official request, several
members of the Boston IMC are moving on preparation already: we have many
of the mailing lists up, and hosting space reserved over on Dissent should
approval come through.  But I turn that over to you guys.

Thanks for taking the time to consider it, and please let me know if there
is anything else I can elaborate upon.  Oh, and I was just being funny
earlier, not facetious.  Roll call's a good idea. =)
