hi tony,
We had some communication problems earlier. i hope you will
reply this time, on the new-imc list, of course.

It's good that you're looking after UK applications and that the
new-imc process is regionalising.

However, could you please make it clear:

(1) Would you accept that for future UK applications, that when you
feel the collective is ready, you *first* propose the collective for
*internal* approval on the new-imc mailing list, with a clear Subject:
to minimise the possibility of miscommunication, for example using
CAPITAL LETTERS to make it easy to find in the archive, and a 3-day
deadline, *before* proposing it to imc-process and imc-communication?

or

(2) Alternatively, will you just propose UK applications directly
to the global list without passing through new-imc internal approval?

It's not up to me to say that (1) or (2) is wrong, i just would be
more comfortable with clarity and communication. (1) is the present
habit of the working group. If you choose (2), that's your individual (or
maybe collective, if you can provide some evidence) choice.

But it would be good to have clarity here.

thanks
boud

The IMC Lancaster contact should have already received a password
after filling out the form at http://newimc.indymedia.org and can
go to http://www.indymedia.org/contact to update it. If necessary,
they can contact dns at lists.indymedia.org , but the contact
database is probably enough on its own.

If you wish to have clarity in the new-imc process, then please
contribute to clarity yourself. We're all volunteers here.
