hi again everyone,
   Does anyone have concerns with or objections to the following
proposal?

torstein, you may wish to either formalise your judgment about
this by either making a STAND ASIDE or a BLOCK. IMHO, there
are clearly enough people interested that if you create a mailing
list, people will join it and continue discussion there.

Given that
(1) discussion of geographical new IMCs on the new-imc mailing
list typically takes about 100-150 emails per month 

(2) the rate of new geographical IMCs joining is continuing
to grow exponentially 

(3) the new-imc working group does not have legitimacy from the
network for changing policy

(4) creating a new list, or using <syndication at
lists.indymedia.org>, or maybe even imc-process, would help the people
really committed discuss together and either discuss theme-based IMCs
at a theoretical level, or else at a practical level, as they wish,
without distracting from new-imc support work for geographical new
IMCs

it is proposed that:
(5) ** those people interested in theme-based IMCs either create a new **
** list or choose a list which does not already have too much workload. **

new-imc prend typiquement entre 100 et 150 méls par mois

new-imc pour les nouvelles IMCs géographiques

il est proposé que :
(5) **  ceux et celles qui s'intéressent aux IMCs thématiques ou bien **
** créeent une nouvelle liste, ou bien choisissent une liste qui n'a **
** pas de surcharge de travail actuel **
