Your list software should disregard the "From:" and respect
the Reply-To. The address where I send mail from and where
I want it directed to are different domains (but end up
at the same place).

Greetings! I'm Bill Huston, from Binghamton NY.
I am involved in Peace and Social Justice issues. In 1998, I was tortured
in a Chicago jail/gulag over minor traffic charges, and authored the
Lawful Arrest FAQ as a result (under a pseudonym) which is archived on
servers in at least 20 countries on at least 5 continents.
Locally, I am heavily involved in media issues.
I have a public affairs show on WHRW 90.5 FM (Binghamton University
station), and engineer the rebroadcast of Democracy Now! live during
winter break. I have a Public Access TV show, and am lobbying the
Binghamton City government to require the cable provider to provide
public access TV studios in the franchise, currently up for renewal. My
readings indicate this is required by NY State Law.
I am also an Community Advisory Board applicant of our local PBS/NPR
affiliate (WSKG and WSQX), and have created a local chapter of Jerry
Starr's organization, Citizens for Independent Public Broadcasting,
a PBS/NPR reform group. We are seeking more progressive programming,
and more locally produced programs of all kinds, especially news and
public affairs.
I run or co-administer several websites for non-profits. Here are a few:

which we hope will be accepted as binghamton.indymedia.org ASAP.

PS: "PseudoPunk" is a funny nick. I saw PIL in Dallas in
about 1989, and this is what Johnny Rotten called all of
us. "Bastards! Yoa naught fogging ponks! Yo don't even
know the meaning of the fogging word!"

What I can say is that Microsoft has enough cash on hand to pay 5,000
programmers to write free software for about a century. There is clearly
no need for the proprietary software model (RMS)
