Je suis Bart du groupe new-imc, c'est une groupe des volontaires d'indymedia qui fait la communication avec les groupes qui veulent devenir un imc. Je suis active dans imc-wvl & imc-be et je veux bien faire tout les communications et donner tous l'aide pour que imc-liege devienne officiel si tot possible.

Le processus a le but d'aider avec l'organisation des groupes d'imc et de verifier que les groupes qui deviennent un imc sachent ce qui est "Indymedia" et qu'ils sont des groupes qui veulent fonctionner d'apres les principes d'indymedia.

Le processus n'est pas très complique. La groupse doit lire et discuter collectivement quelques documents:

Apres la discussion, l'imc doit envoyer à la groupe new-imc, ou à leur personne de contact quelques choses:
1. Les réponses (si possible point sur point) sur
	a) Principles of Unity
	b) Imc Membership Criteria
2. Ecrire une "introduction sur votre imc" et une "Mission Statement" (peut être sur un document.
3. Compiler une liste des personnes de contact. Le réseau Indymedia peut utiliser ça pour faciliter la communication globale (tu peux le faire directement sur http://indymedia.org/contact, c'est le contact database d'indymedia).
4. Avoir quelquest personnes qui suivent quelquest listes globales et faciliter la communication entre local et global

En tout cas, si tu as des question, n'hésite pas à me les poser. Je suis inscrit sur la list imc-liege at lists.indymedia.org, donc ce n'est pas nécessaire d'envoyer tous au liste new-imc.

Si tu as besoin des explications sur les choses techniques du site, je peux t'aider. J'ai installé le software pour imc-wvl et imc-belgique.

The new-imc process is there to help with the organisation of applicant groups and to verify that groups who want to become a local indymedia group know how indymedia works. We also want to know if groups will function according to the indymedia principles before we make them an official part of the network.

The New Imc process is fairly easy. Your group has to read and discuss the following documents:

After you collectively discusses the documents, you'll have to send, either to new-imc group or to your contact person the following:
1. answers to (if possible point by point)
	a) Principles of Unity
	b) Membership criteria
2. A mission statement and introduction to your imc (may be in one document)
3. compile a contact list (through mail  or directly in the contact database). We need this to know who we have to contact).
4. Have some people who can act as a liason between local level and some global lists (where decisions are taken (ideally)).

Anyway, if you have more questions, ask them. I'm subscribed to imc-liege mailinglist, so you can ask me there whaterver you want (you don't have to send all to new-imc list).

If you need help on the tech level of starting a website, I can help  abit. I've installed the software of both imc)wvl & imc-belgium.
