[New-imc] ostracisation as a consensus method?

hi everyone,
Since dragon from IMC Portland joined the new-imc list, i'm
a little worried about him advising new IMC collectives in
using a decision-making method that, IMHO, is simply fascist.
We've already had too much debate on decision-making methods here at
new-imc, and in any case it's clear that we as a group are *not* going
to try to get IMC Portland to change its stated method (the real
method might be less drastic than the way it's documented...), but
since new groups might be confused, i thought it worth putting the
discussion on the TWiki.
Here it is:
http://docs.indymedia.org/view/Global/OstracisationThreatInDecisionMaking
dragon/deva - i suggest that if you disagree with my analysis, please
just add new sections, reorganise the page, add your counterarguments,
to that page. Other old or new Indy people can then read the different
arguments and come to their own conclusions.
