Welcome IMC Perth!
   You've pre-emptively (actually, it was more like post-emptively ;) 
got your DNS :).

Now the IMC Perth contact person who got a password to the contact database

should update your status to "live" and then ask that someone with
admin access to the database (not me!) updates the cities.inc
file. Probably someone on new-imc might do this anyway without asking.
If not, just ask (gently)!

If you want to change "Pacifica" to "Oceania" (on behalf of the whole
Oceania region), i'll leave that to you to work out how to moderate the
discussion and find out who/how to talk to. My guess is it would not
be difficult, and if you cc: to mark at indymedia.org who is not 
subscribed to new-imc, that would probably help...
