[New-imc] indymedia estrecho process steps...

this is osfa at the indymedia estrecho project.

in fulfillment of the NEW IMC PROCESS - HOW IT WORKS document
we would like to confirm that we have advanced the following
steps:

1/ preorganizing. We have done plenty of preorganizing, emphasizing
horizontal, participatory, cooperative, plural and transparent
work. Please see the "new-imc form" as far as outreach, tech
and organizing capacity, preliminary statements, etc.

2/ we have read aloud and in common the documents proposed in
the indymedia process procedure, that is:
/ general overview of the global indymedia network
/ principles of unity
/ membership criteria

We have read them in the different local nodes assemblies -sevilla,
jerez, canarias -  and in the territorial assembly that we celebrated
- nomadly- last may 31st in jerez and june 1st in málaga, and
we have agreed on them and accepted them.

3/ We sent the new imc form last june 12th. It is here:

4/ i have just asked for a new list at indymedia. since last
march we have been busily working on different mailing lists,
most of them hosted by nodo50.

other lists deal with: sevilla node, jerez node, translation,
tech

we have also been working with a wiki where most of the prcess

5/ We keep organizing and have already a wide and growing participation
in the process.

6/ we have advanced some contacts with imc tech, mainly in barcelona
(matze), have made some contacts for indymedia servers and we
do have a test site on line, based on sf-active:
http://estrecho.manje.net

6.02 / we did write a preliminary mission statement with directions
for our editorial policy for the mew-imc form. We will begin
working now on the mission statement.02 and the editorial policy
document... of course we want to produce it through a consensus
process, and therefore some time will be needed: aprox. 15 days
from now, as a lot of discussions have already taken place.

We would appreciate all kind of suggestions and questions through
the process.
