The mexico df imc has long been a disaster. It's been controlled by one
gringo living in mexico city who is best known for being kicked out of
just about every anarchist group in New York before he moved to mexico,
including the nyc imc.
I think it would be great if somebody wanted to make the organizational
effort to restart the imc, it should go through the new imc process
again as it never did in the first place and defacto policy has been
for restarting imc's to reapply.
If i were you i'd email the imc chiapas folks as well as imc-latina
asking for advice. My recollection was there were some radio activists
vaguely connected to the mexico imc, they could be a big help. The main
problem is that nobody but andrew knew how to contact the rest of the
network and he convinced everybody that he had the authority to control
the imc based on his being 'sent' from the US to work on this project.
If i were doing the organizing i would contact various radio leftist
community radio stations, FZLN, the anarchist youth groups, and a lot
of other organizations. Indymedia has become famous enough that other
leftists know about it and want to support it. I often am stopped and
asked why this or that imc is not functioning well, mostly from other
very active leftists who would like to see the imc in their area be
stronger. We need to use that good will and support as the basis for
building a coalition to start fix broken imc's like the mexico df imc.
One other thing, it shouldn't need to be said, but the mails discussing
this and organizing the refounding of the mexico df imc should be in
spanish.

La cmi de mexico df por mucho tiempo estuvo una desastre. Esta estuvo
una gringo de vive en México D.F. dominando la cmi. El es conocen por
una historia de expulsado a todos la grupos de anarquistas en nueva
york y la nyc imc también. Después esto el movió a México df.
Pienso es muy genial por alguien quieren a hacer una trabajando de
organizando a volver a hacer la cmi. Es mayor por a van atrás la
proceso de nuevo cmi por que cmi México nunca pasa atrás esto en la

Yo sugiero tu envinas la cmi chiapas gente y también la lista de
imc-latina por sugestiones. Mi recuerdo es hay algo activistas de radio
comunitarios en México DF con una conexión y interesante en indymedia
México. Creo ellos pueden hacer una muy grande ayudar con esto
proyecto. La problema primero es nunca sin Andrew sabio la contraseña o
como contacta la red de indymedia. También el conviniendo todos el
tiendo la autoridad a dominar la cmi por que el fue envina desde la red
de indymedia en EEUU por trabajar con indymedia México.
Sugiero la gente haciendo la organizando una nueva cmi México contacta
los radios izquierdas comunitarias, FZLN, grupos de anarquistas
juventud, y muchos otros organizados. Indymedia es una poco famoso
entra ciruelos de izquierda y muchos gente quieren apoya lo. Estoy muy
frecuenta preguntaron por que una cmi o otra no es funcionando bien,
mayoría de veces desde militantes y dirigentes de grupos de izquierda
muy fuerte y ellos quieren hacer una indymedia en su comunidad fuerte
también. Nosotros necesitamos usar esta bien sienten y apoya asi la
base desde nosotros re-construimos y reparar los rompieron indymedias
como cmi México df.
Una otra cosas. Los correos y discusiones sobre esta y la re-construir
de indymedia mexico df necesita esta en español.
