[New-imc] thesis about expansion of Indymedia network

Dear madam/sir,

I am Henne Verhoef, a graduate student at the University of Amsterdam. 
I am finishing my master degree in the field of Media and Culture with 
an emphasis on New Media. I am conducting a research study about the 
process of establishing an IMC. I got interested in the way you are 
trying to build a network through (online) liasons and open source 
software. My study, an ethnography, is a suitable tool for telling a 
story and gaining insight in these complex social processes. 
My ethnography will concern the formation of these new IMC’s. In the 
New-IMC and IMC-process mailinglists I read about the developments 
going on in the Middle Eastern region. Can you answer some questions I 
have and can you also refer me to other volunteers who can answer some 
questions about the process of establishing a new IMC? I know you are 
very busy and thanks for your time reading this request. I hope you can 
help me creating a detailed account of the work of Indymedia.
