Sorry friends to intervene in this discussion! I am a
Swedish/Latinamerican journalist and my only relation with IMC Jerusalem
was as publisher of some material I wrote about my visit to Jenin last
year, when the camp was barely recovering from the bombings and from the
massacres. But I offered my help to Bilal and to others, to try to solve
the inmediate problem. For us who are "Palestine activists" the access to
reliable and quick news is crucial, I manage one blog about Gaza and is
working on other site about the Apartheid Wall, which is going to be
launched in one week.
My question to all is: how can we garantee a reliable technical support to
Bilal and to the others from the IMC Jerusalem? I remember a letter from
Ryan dated some weeks ago, where he asked Bilal if the old codes were
still working. I don't know if Bilal and Ryan come in contact.
I can offer a server in Iceland, who is owned by a comrade, he host our
site http://this.is/Jenin, for free.
If IMC Palestine need a mirror we can provide it. In the meanwhile look at
my blog about Gaza and maybe the idea should be to use a blog Palestine,
if the IMC code is too difficult to use for untrained people.
Sorry if I babble, but I am realy eager to provide and to share correct
and fast Palestine news.
Ana
