[New-imc] Introduction

I am imc-ithaca's liaison.  
I thought I had joined this list some time ago, but apparently had not gone 
through the proper proceedures.  I have been posting concerning rogue and 
consensus.  My involvement in peace and justice issues is many years long. 
Indymedia is one of several things I am involved with currently:  Peace 
movement, FREEdom software, environmental issues, education issues, etc..   I 
am a single parent, commute two hours and work eight hours each day, and I 
like to have some time to myself.  I don't have 16 hours a day to spend on 
the computer.  I believe that if Indymedia can survive its growing pains, and 
remain strong in the future, it will change the world... for the better.  A 
world wide organization governing itself through consensus, protected from 
being coopted by the conservative nature of consensus process, and delivering 
an uncensorable account of the people's news; NOW THAT'S SOMETHING POWERFUL!
