I have read mr Berenger contribution. And I think that appart from what
Chris has said, which I agree with I would like to add the following.

-I think the collaboration possibilities offered by Mr Berenger are very
valuable for both him and us.
-The petition made by Mr Berenger, is interesting, but probably it is the
product of our chaotic nature, and people understand indymedia in very
different matters.
-Indymedia doesn´t provide a kind of service where one can host a website
with a particular goal. It is a project on its´ own for free communication
based on open publishing. This means that initiatives like the ones
mentioned by Mr Berenger are already in place within Indymedia. Although I
do not know any case of contact in Mauritania there is a discussion about
the creation of IMC Baghdad.
-Some members from indymedia are already involved in global south projects
so the ones proposed by Mr Berenger could very much strengthen their work.

Therefore I would ask Mr Berenger to make a more clear explanation of what
he has in mind that the proposed site would provide that the ones already
in place don´t.

J'ai lu la proposition faite par Mr. Berenger, je suis d'accord avec Chris
mais je voudrais ajouter quelques commentaires.
-Je pense que le travail proposé par Mr. Berenger peu nous être utile par
rapport á lui et a nous.
- La proposition de Mr. Berenger est intéressante mais je crois qu'elle
explique la forme dans laquelle nous sommes apperçus parfois.
-Le but d'indymedia n'étant pas désormais d'offrire un hébergement
"social" pour y placer un service concret. Indymedia á lui même est un
projet de soi même et il inclus du travail de coopération. Le projet
d'indymedia utilise la publication ouverte es libre comme un moyen de
contourner l'oppression des medias officiels. Je ne connais pas de
relations avec Mauritanie mais la formation de IMC-Iraq est en marche.
-Quelques personnes à Indymedia sont déjà aux projets de collaboration
Global South donc je suis sur que une collaboration avec Mr Berenger est
les personnes qui collaborent á son projet pourraient être tres intéressés
au travail en place.

Cependant je voudrais inviter à Mr Berenger à nous expliquer un peu mieux
son projet.
