[New-imc] Hello from VA

Hello there, 
We are wanting to start an IMC in central VA. We have the process rolling
along well, with numerous experienced activists and organizations on the
wagon. Trying to subscribe to this list, wanting to introduce myself, but
presuming it will not carry my message until I subsribe, and I cannot
subscribe until I introduce myself (??)
