Hey Libby :)
Hey Clara :)
Hey IMC-PROCESS :)

If I can help in any way, let me know.

Also.

Belgium has learned something that the international world will now
learn;-

Clara has put a heroic effort into putting imc-biotech into action. If it
dont get thru I'll be flabergasted. So will many others.

Thus I propose the following;-

If anyone objects or blocks, there IMC will be invaded by AN ENTIRE
COLLECTIVE OF SMELLY AUSTRALIANS WITH FUNNY ACCENTS WANTING TO HUG THE
FUCK OUT OF EVERYONE WHO DISAGREES!!!!!

you have been loved^h^h^h^h^h^H er.. I mean warned.

Just ask belgium. They'll say.

Some scars never heal.

;)

Shayne "smelly australian hippy" O'Neill..

(Members of) several other groups and individuals working on biotech issues are showing interest and offer support, but outreach in a certain degree can only be done, if it is obvious that the Indymedia network will accept a topic IMC.

The editorial group currently consists of a global group of volunteers with broad knowledge on the topic, experience with different IMCs, and different languages; contacts to numerous local and global groups.

There is already much content on local sites on biotech both as a local and global issue. Biotech Indymedia wants to bring them together, and also give a space for additional postings that are given back into the local communities/politics.

The site is set up multilangual to break through language barriers that keep local actions restricted to local languages, or that exclude people that don\'t speakt and write the main language of a global website.

Currently postings are collected manually from most local Indymedia sites on a regular basis, but automatic syndication is possible if an appropirate topic exists on a local site, and already happening from IMC Portland and IMC UK. Articles that are posted directly on www.biotechimc.org are currently manually posted on an appropriate local IMC. Technical solutions still need to be developed (further) for syndication to the topic site as well as for re-positing on local sites.

We share the goals and visions of the Indymedia network, and we see such a topic IMC also as a step to develop the Indymedia network further.
