[New-imc] regarding sf-imc question

Hi New IMC People,

Regarding ryan's recent question about SF-IMC
splitting into two collectives, I want to make it
clear that the current SF-IMC collective has NOT
agreed to this split yet.

The unfortunate thing, is that Ryan and 3 other people
are telling the SF-IMC that the split will happen no
matter what anyone else in our collective thinks about
it (there are 10 other members of SF-IMC, about 5 of
us have serious concerns about a split, and the other
5 haven't responded yet). And 3 of us would be banned
from participating in the "new" SF-IMC under Ryan's
proposal.

I think this threat of taking sf.indymedia.org and
starting a "new" SF-IMC without the other collective
members consent is a serious abuse of tech power. Only
Ryan has access to the server, and he has said that
they are going to do this split no matter what.

So please, if an application comes to the list for the
creation of a "new" SF-IMC, make sure that it comes
with the consent of the entire SF-IMC collective. We
have all put a lot of hard work into the SF-IMC in the
past 3 years, and I believe we all should have a voice
in its fate.
