reply to the idea to have a form instead of a list:

i guess we need both. a list for people who form the working group
new-project to be discussing how to do things, possibly a wiki page, and
then a form that will be generated by the people on the list.

i have just now filled in the request for the list. basically i copied
the description from new-imc, including the somewhat crooked spanish. if
anyone can improve that, and/or would like to administrate the list: be
my guest! i'm not always available so there might be a problem with me
being only administrator.

i think all the details, such as

- getting more people to participate and
- exactly what will the form look like (and who is actually going to DO
it)
- which types of projects do we have and what does each of them require
(syndication, project.indymedia.org, www.indymedia.org/project etc)
- which will be the steps for a new projects from the idea to the
project-xyz.indymedia.org site
- who needs to be informed of what when and how
- collaboration with the contact database people about automation of
sending out information

etc. should be dicussed by the new working group and then presented as a
proposal to this list. a form can be the result of this then.

so: please subscribe!

later this will be the working group which guides new projects into the
network, just as new-imc.
