here goes:

i am a member of the Urbana-Champaign IMC. i started hanging around back
in march, and i've been picking up speed and getting more active ever
since. we decided that we should probably have liaisons to all the major
global lists, and i volunteered to handle new-imc. i am not empowered to
make decisions for our IMC (like submitting to consensus) but must watch
the list and report back to our steering group when that's needed.

i hope to meet more IMCstas outside of our little enclave soon, like in
Miami. welcome me! i command you!
