I've spoken to Edwin, and it does seem there is a diferent cultural
meaning in the philipino activist scene than we have in the west. post
colonialism and all that.

Also, keep in mind that alot of stuff does happen off-list with some of
the 'global south' indys , cos its expen$ive to be online :)
